Beaches in Santa Elena
Santa Elena is the youngest province in Ecuador and one of the most visited in terms of tourism due to the diversity of popular beaches it has: Salinas, Montañita, Olon, Ayangue, etc.
Its provincialization occurred on September 7 – 2007, thus separating from the province of Guayas and living since then on tourism, commerce, fishing and industry.
Although it was one of the last provinces to become independent, its lands were home to the oldest cultures of Ecuador and all of America.
