Beaches in Manabi

Discover the best beaches in Manabi!

Manabi is the third most populated province of Ecuador, but with the largest area of the coast (18,940 km²). Its capital is Portoviejo.

The province has 320 kilometers of beaches with about 30 resorts ranging from Ayampe in the south to Cojimies in the north.

It is also known by its gastronomic culture and, like Santa Elena, for being one of the areas where some of the oldest coastal cultures of Ecuador settled: Valdivia, Chorrera, Jama-Coaque, Bahia and Manteña.

Manabi lives from industry, commerce, fishing and tourism. It also has the second most important port in Ecuador (Manta).

Many ecuadorians confirmed that the beaches in Manabi are the most beautiful ones in the continent area of Ecuador.
